¿Qué es Sol Book Box?

Sol Book Box is a leading subscription box service delivering uncommonly delightful books, toys, and activities to budding bilingual niños.

Who is it for?

Modern families fostering a multicultural mindset. Children enrolled in bilingual programs. Heritage families seeking a deeper cultural connection. Anyone seeking the very best in Spanish children's literature! Currently we offer subscription options for children age 0-3, and 4-7.

How fluent in Spanish do we need to already be?

While a working knowledge of Spanish is certainly helpful, our boxes are curated to serve newbies and experts alike. Whether you or your child are just beginning a bilingual journey, you come from an already fluent heritage family, or you find yourself somewhere in between, Sol Book Box can help enable a more joyful reading and learning experience!

What's in the box?

Each delivery includes a phenomenally written, beautifully illustrated Spanish or bilingual book, along with selected toys, games, activities or learning aids.

Is everything written in Spanish?

No! While our books are generally Spanish-language only (with occasional bilingual entries), additional box contents vary between English and Spanish language, depending on the item and intended use.

Do you have any non-subscription options?

ACCOUNT & BILLING QUESTIONS

How does billing work?

Upon confirming a subscription plan, you will be charged immediately for your first cycle. If you have selected a month-to-month term, you will subsequently be billed every month on the same date of your initial charge, until cancellation. If you have purchased a 3- or 6-month subscription, you will be billed once for all of the months you have purchased. Multi-month subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel by the last day of your current subscription cycle.

My child didn't love our last box – what should I do?

¡Qué lástima! But don't worry, we'll make this right. If you haven't already, first make sure you've filled out your subscriber profile. Once that's done, send us some detailed feedback on your latest box experience through our online survey (provided each month via email). Need to talk more? Reach out anytime to hola@solbookbox.com.

How do I pause or cancel my subscription?

If you ever need to cancel your subscription, you can log into your account and and click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. If you purchased a 3- or 6-month package, you have already been billed for any months remaining in your cycle, but your subscription will not renew after that. If you are month-to-month, you need to cancel by the last day of the current cycle to avoid being billed on the first day of the next cycle. We will miss you!

I'd love to buy this as a gift – how do I do that?

What a lovely idea! All you have to do is select "this is a gift" during the checkout process, and provide to us the recipient's name, email address, and a personalized gift message.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Where and how do you ship?

Sol Book Box ships via the USPS, which delivers to all US States (including Alaska & Hawaii), territories, and APO addresses. At this time we only ship within the United States!

When will my package arrive?

Boxes generally ship within 7 business days of each purchase or renewal. Delivery of your package depends on where you are located, but most boxes will arrive within 2-5 business days. You will receive a shipping notification when your box is on the way!
