"These adorable volumes herald the great contributions of past and present Latinx icons. Each subject s accomplishments are summed up in three to five sentences in English on the recto and in Spanish on the verso. Leal's charming illustrations depict the figures as children dressed in vibrant colors, making these volumes even more kid-friendly and engaging." [School Library Journal]
