Mario is the imaginary friend that we all wish we had: he is witty, kind and very funny. Mario really likes having friends, but he gets sad when his friends stop needing him...and this always happens when his friends find real friends.

Mario wants to find a friend who always wants his company, and one day he meets Sam. The two become inseparable, reading and playing games all the time, and have also started drawing a comic. Everything is going great, until Sam meets Sammi... a real girl, just like him. Mario is very sad, because he knows that he will soon disappear... but who knows? Maybe this time things will be different.
